Lunch and Learn
Balboa Park is made up of more than 1000 acres and offers fifteen museums, various gardens, arts and international culture associations, as well as the San Diego Zoo, making it a place that offers something historical, horticultural, educational and recreational for everyone. Approximately 14 million visitors come to the park each year. Displays of internationally significant art treasures, exotic animal species, unique model railroads, world folk art, sports memorabilia and rare aircraft–to name a few–are on view in the Park's museums.
The historic Balboa Park Club building was first constructed for the park’s 1915 exposition to house the state of New Mexico’s exhibits. It was later remodeled and enlarged for the 1935 exposition. It was during this period that sculptor Frederick Schweigardt and painter Belle Baraceneau created their striking fountain and mural which adorn the building’s grand foyer. The Ballroom, featuring approximately 13,000 of unobstructed wood dance floor will be put to good use by sponsor

- Take Hwy 163 south to Park Blvd, go left at the stop light then left onto President’s Way, which is the next stop light. Continue to the stop sign where you can go straight to park in the Pan American Plaza parking lot or make a right and park in the Organ Pavilion lot.
- The Balboa Park Club is located in the South Palisades area of Balboa Park, just north of the Puppet Theatre.
- More parking is available in the adjacent lots that are located behind the Hall of Champions and the Starlight Bowl or you can take the Balboa Park Tram |

Prices: - Advanced Registration: $35.00 per person per meeting
After 3:00pm on the Friday before the event: $45.00 per person payable at the door.
Advance Registration Fees - In order for San Diego Recreation and Benefits Association to honor the advance registration price, we require you pay your entry fee in full no later than 3:00pm on the Friday before the event. For your convenience, Visa & MasterCard payments are accepted through our website at www.sdrba.com.
Payment by Check - Please send checks made out to SDRBA to: 2820 Camino Del Rio South #212 San Diego CA. 92108 Please note, your check must be postmarked by the first Wednesday of the month. That is one week prior to the event.
Refunds - There will be no refunds or credits for meeting fees. There will be no exceptions.
